All eyes were on Texas A&M Aggies kicker Seth Small on Saturday night. Small held the Aggies’ fate in his hands against the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.

As a kicker, Small understood his assignment. He needed to nail a 28-yard field goal to send shockwaves through the college football landscape. Several fans were nervously awaiting the upcoming kick.

Amid the chaos, Small’s family was a calming force. They encouraged Small throughout the entire process and offered some heartwarming messages.

“C’mon babe, you got it,” Small’s wife yelled before the kick. “Let’s go 47! You got it babe. You got it.”

Texas A&M photographer Cam Worthy captured the touching video for 12th Man Productions. The viral video eclipsed 4.4 million views on Twitter.

Small stepped up and drilled the game-winning field goal. It gave the Aggies a 41-38 victory and snapped Alabama’s 19-game winning streak.

After the game, Small said the game was probably one of the best moments in his life.

“It is probably the third-best moment of my life, right after I accepted Jesus into my heart as my true Lord and Savior,” Small said during his postgame interview. “And then, after getting married to my wife this summer. I rank this three.”

Fans rushed the field in celebration. Small’s wife joined the crowd in excitement of the victory.

Small admitted that the fans were a big reason for the upset win. He also noted that the entire team played a part in the historic night.

“We have the best fans in the nation and that is what makes it so special to play at Kyle Field,” Small said.

The Aggies jumped to No. 18 in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll. They will be back in action on Saturday against the Missouri Tigers.
