Chicago White Sox reliever Craig Kimbrel is known around the league for his signature pitching motion. His unique delivery helped him achieve success in his 12-year career.

Many fans are intrigued when Kimbrel is on the pitching mound. Last week, a young White Sox fan showed his appreciation by mirroring Kimbrel’s delivery from the stands.

In the eighth inning, broadcast cameras captured the special moment. The young fan, wearing a black White Sox t-shirt and baseball glove, imitated Kimbrel at the start of his pitching motion.

The youngster followed Kimbrel’s every move. He leaned in with a deep stare as his arm dangled to the side. He also came set just like Kimbrel. Once the pitch was thrown, the fan replicated Kimbrel as he walked back to the pitching mound.

The entire sequence received strong reviews. It also caught the attention of the White Sox coaching staff.

White Sox pitching coach Ethan Katz responded to the cool moment on Twitter. He wrote that the team’s bullpen looks promising in the future.

“Love this! 2040 @whitesox bullpen looks promising,” Katz said in the tweet.

This season, the White Sox are 82-61 overall. They sit 12 games ahead of the Cleveland Indians in the American League Central. The White Sox begin a three-game series against the Los Angeles Angels Tuesday night
