Dawson Garcia is returning to college basketball. What school he ends up at next season is still to be determined.

Garcia, who averaged 13 points and 6.6 rebounds per game his freshman season at Marquette, confirmed on Tuesday that he is withdrawing from the NBA draft.

The 6-foot-11 Garcia entered the NCAA transfer portal on June 25. Since he did that before July 1, he will have immediate eligibility as a first-time transfer if he chooses a different school.

Garcia confirmed that he is deciding among Arizona, Illinois, North Carolina and a return to MU.

The deadline for a prospect to remove his name from the NBA draft in Wednesday.

Garcia declared for the draft on April 12. He worked out for several teams, including the Milwaukee Bucks, and had a strong showing at the G League Elite Camp in late June. However, he was not invited to the NBA Combine, a sign that pro scouts thought Garcia needed more time to develop.
