Vanderbilt men's basketball SEC opponents released
In addition to permanent SEC men's basketball opponents Kentucky, Florida and Tennessee, Vanderbilt will play South Carolina and Georgia twice during the 2021-22 season.
SEC teams play an 18-game conference schedule, with each team playing nine home games and nine road games against conference opponents. Teams play five opponents twice and eight opponents once.
Vanderbilt home opponents: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M
Vanderbilt road opponents: Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Tennessee
During the 2020-21 season, Vanderbilt was 3-13 in conference play. The Commodores last made the NCAA Tournament in 2017, last won the SEC Tournament in 2012 and last won the SEC regular season in 1993.
In the non-conference, Vanderbilt has already announced a home-and-home series with Pittsburgh to begin in 2021 and will play in the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic in December with Hawai'i, BYU and South Florida.
