NFL's highest paid quarterbacks: Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Dak Prescott lead list

35 NFL quarterbacks now make at least $5 million in average salary per year per overthecap.com, a site that tracks NFL player contracts (through Sept, 10, 2021).

15 make at least $25 million.

The Kansas City Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes leads the list with an average annual salary of $45 million.

No. 2 on the list? Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who is now set to make $43 million per season after an offseason contract extension.

The Dallas Cowboys' Dak Prescott is third, with $40 million per season.

The Houston Texans' Deshaun Watson is fourth at $39 million.

Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks is now fifth at $35 million while the Green Bay Packers' Aaron Rodgers and the Detroit Lions' Jared Goff are tied for sixth at $33.5 million.
