NFL's highest paid linebackers: Darius Leonard, Fred Warner, Bobby Wagner lead list

The Seattle Seahawks' Bobby Wagner is the third-highest paid linebacker in the NFL.

18 linebackers now make at least $10 million in average annual salary per year, per overthecap.com, a site that tracks NFL player contracts (through Sept. 10, 2021).

The highest paid linebacker in the NFL (not counting edge rushers) is now the Indianapolis Colts' Darius Leonard at $19.7 million per season.

The San Francisco 49ers' Fred Warner is second. He makes $19 million per season.

The Seattle Seahawks' Bobby Wagner is next. He makes $18 million per season.

The New York Jets' C.J. Mosley is fourth at $17 million, while the Houston Texans' Zach Cunningham is fifth with an average annual salary of $14.5 million.

The Jacksonville Jaguars' Myles Jack and the Atlanta Falcons' Deion Jones are tied for sixth at $14.3 million per season.
