Pro Football Network: Bengals 23, Lions 17

Ben Rolfe writes: "This should be a victory for the Bengals. However, with a wild, emotional loss last week combined with the rigors of an overtime period, there is some burnout concern. Plus, there are the worries surrounding Joe Burrow and his neck. The Lions will play hard, but they lack the talent of the Bengals, assuming Burrow can play."

Andrew Buller-Russ writes: "Despite how much of a rebuild Detroit is in right now, this is a winnable game for the Lions. They drafted Penei Sewell to shore up their offensive line, and Jared Goff paired with a competent running game continues to put up points. Still, the Bengals are a serious team on both sides of the ball. We think they get the better end of the battle between two of the NFL’s large four-legged critters."

CBS Sports: Bengals 30, Lions 17

John Breech writes: "The Bengals had a bad defense last year, but not even they were as bad as the Lions. During the 2020 season, the Lions gave up the most points in the NFL, the third-most passing yards and the fifth-most rushing yards. Not only are they trying to plug all of those holes, but they're going to be trying to do it with a new coaching staff. There aren't a lot of games on the schedule that the Bengals "should" win, but this is definitely one of them."

Draft Kings: Take the Lions with the points against the Bengals

Cole Huff writes: "Both teams are coming off of truly heart-breaking losses in Week 5 but will have a chance to redeem themselves in Week 6. This feels like a trap game for the Bengals who face a competitive Detroit team that has had opportunities to win a few games this season. However, the Bengals probably figure out how to eke out a win on the road. Watch for possible line movement throughout the week — a shift one way or the other could be crucial."

Sportsnaut: Bengals 34, Lions 20

Vincent Frank writes: "Detroit has been much more competitive through five weeks than most people initially anticipated. Despite being 0-5, the team could very easily be a 3-2. In the end, that doesn’t matter too much if you don’t win. Expect that to be the case in Week 6, again."

Bengals Wire: Bengals will beat Lions in Week 6

Chris Roling writes: "The Lions reset under center by acquiring Jared Goff but otherwise have a rather significant rebuild going for them. It’s something Burrow and Co. should be able to exploit through the air. And that Bengals secondary gets quite the break coming off a tough time against Aaron Rodgers."
