Pro Football Network: Buccaneers 34, Eagles 20

Ben Rolfe writes: "How the Eagles got out of their game with the Panthers with a victory is somewhat of a mystery. Philadelphia appeared to be thoroughly dominated before Jalen Hurts once again woke up in the fourth quarter. The Buccaneers are a more ruthless team than the Panthers, so there should be less opportunity for a late comeback."

Andrew Buller-Russ writes: "The Eagles brought in an impressive draft class, and Jalen Hurts has been impressive in his first full season as a starter. It still won't be enough to hang with Tampa Bay, though. Brady should have a field day against Philadelphia's secondary."

Fansided: Buccaneers will cover against Eagles

Thomas Snodgrass writes: "Tom Brady has looked more like a 24-year old than a 44-year old, picking apart defenses across the league. But Brady may be asked to do less on a short week against Philadelphia's 30th-ranked rushing defense that is allowing 142 rushing yards per game. The Eagles allowed Ezekiel Elliott of the Dallas Cowboys to run for 95 yards and two touchdowns in Week 3, Clyde Edwards-Helaire of the Kansas City Chiefs to run for 102 yards in Week 4, and Chuba Hubbard of the Panthers to run for 101 yards last week. I would expect this trend to continue on Thursday Night, as Bucs’ running back Leonard Fournette should carry the load on offense and take pressure off Brady on a short week. Tampa Bay’s defense has allowed just 45.8 rushing yards per game (first in the NFL), and I don’t think the Eagles’ offense can operate well if they’re forced to throw too often."

Luke Easterling writes: "The Bucs head back out on the road on a short week here, getting another nationally televised game in prime time. Much like the Dolphins the previous week, the Eagles have some promising talent on both sides of the ball, but they’re a long way from being the kind of complete team that can hang with a loaded roster like Tampa Bay’s. Philly is rarely an easy place to win, but the Bucs exorcised their demons in that city a long time ago. The Eagles will be overmatched on both sides of the ball, and though they could steal a few big plays throughout the game, it won’t be nearly enough to upset the champs on the national stage."

Sportsnaut: Buccaneers 24, Eagles 10

It writes: "A low-scoring, gritty type of battle wouldn’t be a surprise. Fletcher Cox is the type of interior pocket-collapsing force who can knock Tom Brady off his spot. Tampa Bay runs a vertical passing game that needs a while to develop, which is difficult to execute against Philly’s front. All that said, the reigning Super Bowl champions should still win by more than one possession."

CBS Sports: Buccaneers 31, Eagles 20

Jared Dubin writes: "Tampa is really on a roll here, and despite allowing Jalen Hurts to rush for 150 yards and two touchdowns, the Bucs roll to victory against an Eagles team that is just not equipped to deal with all of this team's various weapons on offense."
