The Atlanta Falcons (0-1) visit the NFC South rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-0) Sunday of Week 2 for a 4:05 p.m. ET kickoff at Raymond James Stadium. Below, we look at the Falcons vs. Buccaneers odds and lines, and make our best NFL picks, predictions and bets.

The Falcons were upset and throttled by the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 1. They fell 32-6 on their home field in the head coaching debut of Arthur Smith. QB Matt Ryan was sacked three times and pressured far more often behind a flimsy offensive line.

The Buccaneers opened the 2021 NFL season and their Super Bowl title defense with a 31-29 home win over the Dallas Cowboys Sept. 9. The offense, led by QB Tom Brady, was nearly unstoppable as Brady threw for 379 yards and 4 touchdowns, including 2 to TE Rob Gronkowski.

Falcons at Buccaneers odds, lines, predictions and picks

Prediction

Buccaneers 30, Falcons 17

Money line

The Buccaneers have an implied win probability of 88.24% but it's a one-way ticket to a depleted bankroll when betting favorites as chalky as -750.

Nothing we saw from either team last week would suggest this game will be close so move on to the spread.

PASS.

Against the spread

The BUNCCAEERS -12.5 (-110) are the pick to win by 13 or more points and start their Super Bowl defense 2-0. Tampa Bay beat Atlanta twice in the final three weeks of the 2020 regular season, first by a 31-27 count on the road but then 44-27 on home field in Week 17.

The Tampa Bay defense surprisingly struggled against Dallas, but it's almost entirely the same unit that shut down the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl. It'll make quick work of a Falcons O-line that surrendered 13 quarterback pressures to the Eagles last week.

Over/Under

The UNDER 51.5 (-105) will be the play in Falcons games until they get some improvement along the offensive line.

The two head-to-head matchups last season totaled 58 and 71 points, but the Falcons appear far from midseason form heading into just their second game under Smith.
